My niece and her husband have signed the initial agreement to buy my Mom's house. Us three boys still need to take a couple of days and clear the rest of the things out. Pretty much all junk at this point. Going through this whole process has made me realize that I have some junk I need to get rid of and I've slowly but surely been ridding myself of many non-essential possessions. I've never been much of a saver anyway, so it's been pretty easy so far. There are some things that I brought back from my parents house that have sentimental value, but I'm starting to realize that my memories are more valuable than the objects themselves. BTW, Mom's still doing great in her new home. Nice to know that she's being taken care of after all the years she took care of us.
