The one time I was in a car accident, I have to tell you it took about two weeks for the stiffness in the muscles to wear off. I hope that's all it is, muscle pain. It sounds like you've taken the precautions necessary, both going to the ER and a chiropractor -- as long as there's no skeletal damage, you should be getting better and better.
