Did I mention it's hot here? Only ten minutes outside and sweat is dripping. I modified the blueberry net structure, And I took the scare things from the cherry tree and added them to the b-berry netting. It doesn't scare them away but it looks like I know what I'm doing to the uneducated observer.
After mending the net I realized it's time to pick. Almost 2 full pints of dime size berries. There is a lot of them. And I found myself competing with the six legged critters. No pesticides on my food! My garden is totally organic. Yesterday I ate a strawberry I picked that had a hole in it. I didn't see if anyone was home. I just ate it - tasty.
Now that my t-shirt is cool and damp instead of hot and sweaty, it's time to go back outside.
