I was woken this morning by what I think was a dream but it was so vivid. It was like the end credits at a movie but in an old fashioned movie theatre, you know, with the deep red velvet drapes either side of the screen? Well there on the screen in cursive script were the following words : ** Embrace the future, don't tend the past **
I've done my share of wallowing in self pity about all the 'wrongs' I have suffered but I don't live in the past.
Now I try to simply accept the things that happened as 'varying circumstances' and acknowledge their place on my journey.
I am focused on building a life to be proud of.
