If you have a legal contract, then you have to take the necessary legal steps to help get back your money. If the time and cost of taking these steps ends up costing you more than the original amount owed to you, then you have to decide if you still want to pursue this matter. I empathize with your situation and have been involved in similar frustrating situations in the past couple months, and after doing all I can do, I then have to leave the result up to my Higher Power.
