When I called just now I got the voicemail, but it should be staffed during the day. If you call that number and explain that you need a ride to a meeting, my bet is they will find someone to take you. When you get to the meeting, you let people know you don't have transportation. Given that you're only two miles from the meeting, it shouldn't be difficult to find people able to give you a ride.
