24 more please.

Went out to dinner last night with my oh and ate far too much yummy food. Very busy restaurant meant chatting was difficult but it was nice all the same. I had diet coke and didn't feel one bit deprived which is great news.

One thing that struck me was the amount of people tapping on their phones. A good 50% of diners had a fork in on hand and their phone in the other. I even saw someone with a selfie stick. I didn't even know those things were for real.

Why are people so afraid of communicating with the person opposite them or the stranger to the left or right? What has changed so radically that telling a bunch of random, virtual people what's on your plate is more important than extending your love to the human next to you?

I'll be pondering this question.

And it's made me think about my own behaviour.

Selfie stick though? Really?

Love you all.
