For my F-I-L it's hard to think of any. My mother-in-law is trying to liquidate their stuff (they are actively preparing for their end-of-life). They've traveled and done restaurant gift cards to death. He's had a million ties and bottles of aftershave.
We don't live with him and thus don't know his practical preferences.
