Interesting. Why do you say AA/Smart support groups aren't really free? And if they have the same goal as other programs of recovery -- i.e., recovery -- why is a comparison apples and oranges?
Just asking. I do
not have an agenda here. Really. I want to know what people think so as to inform my own thinking about best courses of treatment, especially should I ever be in the position of helping others through early recovery. When I ask a question, it's a real question, not an expression of skepticism or in any other way rhetorical.
