Husband just left to the driving range. I have one hour free to myself! WooHOO.
Normally, I would race out to Walgreen's to buy a six pack to stash in my favorite hiding spot, and perhaps get in one, maybe two cans; before his return.
I seriously thought this would not be a bad idea, for about 5 seconds.
While waiting for him to pack up his gear to leave the house, I had enough time to actually think,
"Then I will be miserable for the rest of the night because I can't drink the other four, PLUS I won't sleep half the night; knowing I COULD drink another while he was sleeping (If I was really quiet) and I will wake up in the morning planning my day on how I could buy more, or maybe 1 small mickey of vodka- and off I will be running with the circus again."
So instead, I sit down with my friends at SR. I grabbed an ice cold water.
I am ok. Still sober.
