Dear P,

Your Grandma sounds like such a lovely, loving, humorous woman. I can hear how you and she spent so many wonderful and loving hours over your lifetime together.

It is so hard to lose family - they are irreplaceable. I lost my wonderful father when I was 15, and am now no contact with my alcoholic/addict mother; I am an only child. As you can imagine I have found bits and pieces of parent figures in various places... finding and losing those connections keeps that pain at bay, and keeps it alive as well.

What's your immediate support system like right now, where you are? What do you have going on to keep busy?

I'm very sorry for your loss. When they go by choice, it is all the more complicated. Maybe I missed something in your post - was she ill and in physical pain?

Take good care (((hugs)))
