Luv1another2003, I'm so glad that you found SR. I just found it and my life has changed for the better.

Reach out and try to get to a meeting when you can.

Try to stay away from those old using friends. They want you to fall back into that misery with them, don't go there. Stay firm on your decision to quit, and as Mishelly said, DON'T PICK UP A DRINK/DRUG *NO MATTER WHAT*.

They told me that even if my @ss was falling off, don't touch the first one and I'd be ok. So will you.
