Okay so my sober plan is as follows:
- Reconnect with God
- Journal so I can keep track of progress and/or things I need to work on
- Start exercising again, specifically take my poor puppy for a walk
- Inform my close friends of my decision to stop drinking so I can either weed them out or gain their support
- Continue to avoid high risk situations until I have a solid foundation
- Take care of my body...proper nutrition, sleep, exercise, etc
- Continue with meditation and yoga
- Continue to read and post often on SR
- Learn and practice saying no if/when I unexpectedly find myself in the situation
- Be open to new ideas and tweaking my plan should it fail
- Try to avoid being left home along with alcohol in the house or keep busy during that time
- Whatever happens, just don't drink. Do anything but drink (or drug).
