I totally agree. I get great joy in knowing that my two kids want to spend time together. They're very different kids and being siblings they know how to push each others' buttons, but what siblings don't? Now that they don't see each other very often I think, along with maturity, they've come to realize and appreciate how special their relationship is.

On a similar note, I'm very happy that although they are both independent they enjoy coming home and spending time with dear ole mom and dad. :-)

My defenses are a little low at the moment because dear son came home much later than expected, around 12:30, and I was up past 1 AM with him so I'm tired. Wifey is going to be home soon and we're going to go for an afternoon run before starting our prep for this weekend's party so those are my short term additional incentives to have nothing stronger than club soda.
