We had a perfect first day of spring yesterday, I saw my first robin...around these parts it isn't spring until the first robin appears...closely followed by yellow finch and red winged black birds.
My mama used to say this poem when she saw her first robin, so here's to my mama and here's to the renewal and new life that spring brings every year.
Spring has sprung
The grass has riz
I wonder where
The birdie is!
My robin in my tree....
