I had to kick out my son and he did initially choose rehab, but then after several relapses, he too lost everything and now must deal with his reality of being back in detox and homeless. They say it takes multiple times to hit the bottom and rehab is only a tool. What I have learned in the last 5 years is no matter what I think the bottom should be for JJ, his reality is much different. You have to take care of your health as heroin addiction robs the person of having empathy, guilt or any other emotion that will stop them from using. It is a living Hell to watch our children continue to use.
