Not drinking for 56 days is a huge accomplishment that you decided to do for real reasons. It is very normal to think about drinking again. HOWEVER, it is also a reality that alcoholics think that "it will be different this time". From experience and from the experience of so many other people here, alcoholics cannot drink socially. I'm an alcoholic and I know in my heart I can't put alcohol in my body because I can't process it like other people. When I get where you are at I have to ask myself what is REALLY going on and what do I REALLY need. Perhaps there is something you can do to take care of yourself
