I have to admit - I used to get super jealous of people who had positive results within just a few weeks of getting sober. Took me a few months to get the results I wanted. Now that I am free from alcohol I am also free to be happy for others who are succeeding on their sober life journeys. Even at a pace that was faster than mine.
