You are free to use SR anyway that helps. However, early recovery is not always flush with things that are positive. A lot of negatives and support is helpful. So don't feel you can't post if you don't have something positive to say. Post when the folks here can help you, when we can talk you off the proverbial ledge and you are thinking of drinking.
