I forgot to comment on the abandoned buildings in N. Dakota and wanted to thank Mesaman so much for sharing. I am fascinated by abandoned buildings, especially ones that are left standing.
I took a wrong exit on the way to a class this summer, and found a beauty of an abandoned builing (fyi: it's not in a good part of st. louis). I was just in awe when I saw it.
It took me forever to figure out what it was, but I found this website with photos. Enjoy!
