Physical changes (I know we've been there) and sunken droopy eyes

I've read here and there about how the face of an alcoholic changes due to dehydration. It's puffy, ruddy, and terra cotta looking.

I've also read that alcoholism can cause eyes to look sunken and eyelids to droop so that ultimately, eyes look beady and squinty. I wonder if anyone else experienced this. I notice while I've been on benders, that my eyelids almost seemed wrinkled and hang down like someone 20 years my age. I can notice the difference almost as soon as I stop. Is this all in my head?

Sorry my first return post is a vanity post. In fact, I just wrote up a long reintroduction and left the page before it posted. I'm just about at the end of Day Four. My post was long, so I don't feel like writing it over immediately, but I will later.
