Welcome ! Alcohol is a powerful and cunning beverage for those of us who somewhere down the road lost the "choice" to drink normally. It's the only disease a hypochondriac won't claim. (sorry - a little of levity is often needed in these tough times imo). I came here to SR 71 days ago - emotionally beat to hell in a multi-bottle red wine hungover fog. Was thoroughly disgusted with my binge drinking insanity cycle. With SR, and walking back into, and fully embracing the principals of AA, my life is soooooo much better after this short period of time. Welcome again !! Give this sober life a shot.
