Oh yeah I feel that. Every year I hope it will be a good holiday with no emotional upheaval. I used to let it out more and created my own drama that would interfere with my own family. I am getting better at just accepting that the tire tracks over my psyche are not going away any time soon and I will just see them, expect them and then get over it.
