I spent Christmas alone some years back and had a great time. Whilst I will spend the morning with my son he is going to his father's in the afternoon which is fine. I agree-there is nothing sad or bad about spending Christmas alone though I have sympathy for those who have no choice and would like to be with others.
It's my 3rd sober Christmas and NY too
