Way to go Venus! I've got partying neighbors that stay up all hours, beer bottles rolling off the balcony, classy. Haha. I got a floor fan that I crank up on high when they're being especially noisy. It helps a little.
I am SO happy to be home now. It was a lovely time, truly. After we ate I offered to take the kids to a nearby park to give myself a little break from the chaos. My sister and cousin joined too. We played a little soccer, walked some trails, just a great time. I don't feel like I missed out on a thing by sticking with seltzer. AV chimed in a couple of times, but was easily dismissed after getting some fresh air. This gives me hope for the upcoming month.
Now I'm at home watching Anchorman 2 with a piece of apple pie. Sober life is good.
