I'm sorry to hear that your dad had a stroke. That's very sad. Even if he can't communicate I'm sure he probably senses that you are there and care. If you are anything like me, I wouldn't be there if I were still drinking. Hang in there. Sometimes life throws a wrench in the works but you can get through it.
