Having only found this forum last week and posted for the first time a couple of days ago I already feel more certain than ever that I can finally kick the grog forever.........and most importantly, be happy in doing it
I'm using AVRT but still need a bit of reassurance and the knowledge that I ain't alone in this.
I've been blown away by the intelligence, love and humour demonstrated by the posters on here - and it makes me realise that it is actually possible to be happy, content and to laugh again without drink - something that I've not noticed before in real life.
I've been questioning my reasons for not drinking now I'm 13 days in and starting to feel a bit better but everytime I log on here I seem to read something that hits the mark and helps.......
Thank you all - I've a feeling you haven't heard the last of me!
