One of my favorite songs of all time, and one that I can connect to our search for sobriety is Van Morrison's "Philosopher's Stone".
It has wonderful lyrics about a man whose job is turning lead into gold and it really strikes a chord (sorry about the unintended pun) with me. The backing starts really gently and buids to a great finish with a sublime harmonica riff in the middle. If you like Van the Man you'll love this track.
