Jim, It is tough when you have parent to care for. I work in elder care for almost 20 yrs. I have cared for many people with copd-chronic obstructive pulmonary disease for anyone not famiiliar. If she has just had to leave her home, she is feeling many emotions. Give her time to adjust. But take care of yourself. You can get through this without drinking.
