I had hip replacement about 4 yrs ago
and that was not fun. There was a
theraphist that came once to help me
exercise properly. Because im stubborn
and want to do things on my own, I got
the workout information and told them
I didn't need them anymore.

Of course they didn't like it, but, for me,
I got what I needed from them which
was the proper helpful information and
did it myself with help from my husband.

My husband worked during the day
and I was determined myself to get
up and move. I used the walker for
a short time when I went to the store
and outside, but I quickly got rid of
it.

I don't like to be weak and don't like
to depend on folks much. Just give me
the information and I'll do the action.

Same thing with recovery. I got all
my information and then followed it
up with action because its my responsibility.

No one is gonna take care of me better
than me, myself and I.

For that I am grateful, blessed, healthy,
and happy in recovery for 24 yrs. taking
care of me.

Stay strong physically, mentally, emotionally
and spiritually in all our affairs one day at a
time.
