one day
one day sober. slept terribly but did not drink. different shift at work this week is going to make this harder, but knowing my past, day one and day seven or around fourteen are a beast. I am finally quitting for me, just worn out after 20ish years of hell. will crib the things from AA that work for me, and having read some stories here, feel less alone. one day at a time else the enormity of it all will swallow me whole. too tired for capitalization.
but i made yesterday, now all i have to do is make today
plus, counting smokes, already saved like 20-30 bucks. woot.
