Halloween coming which means that we have all hit 11 months sober. Wow. Who woulda thunk it.
As we march towards 12 months or 52 weeks or 365 days or 8760 hours since our last drink, it's time for a look back and reflect on how each of us got to this successful milestone. Maybe on our 12 month day, we could each write out our thoughts to share with others. The good thoughts, the not so good and the ones that kept us on this great train. For us drunks, one year is damn good. But it's not good enough. We have to stick to our plans, be forever diligent on recognizing the triggers and maintain our support group.
I so look forward to congratulating each of you. I definetly will celebrate your success with yet another club soda. Might even spring for a perrier instead of that cheap Walmart stuff.
