Welcome, Sapphire. I too drank because my anxiety was brutal! Guess what? after sober almost a month, my anxiety has all but left the building.
I totally understand where you are coming from, that you don't "look" the part of an alcoholic. Funny thing I realized was that the bottles of wine I was consuming couldn't care less what I looked like. They were going to take me down no matter what. Glad you are here! so much support and info.
