Anxiety is pretty common but I'm not sure about the buzzing sound, unless you mean like a constant high pitched tone like tinnitus?
The bottom line is none of us are doctors and by our rules we can't give you medical advice anyway.
If your current Dr won't agree to the tests you want, maybe it's a good idea to get a second opinion?
