Saying hi.
I must quit drinking..before it kills me. And more and more I am afraid it will.
I’ve been an alcoholic for probably almost 20 years. I can go days/weeks without it but I always go back to the vodka. I’m getting sicker and sicker physically and mentally, and am in a constant state of very high anxiety that makes it hard to function in the world. I’m terrified of losing my great job and my loving husband, maybe even my home. And my life. I am so lonely – I’ve driven most of my friends away.
Thanks for being here. I hope this time I can make it stick.
