I was 30 when I first quit.. I did 5 months in AA and then decided that I wasn't a real alcoholic but only a potential and my drinking was due to other circumstances
Almost 3 months of trying to control my drinking and living in mental hell showed me that I am 100% alcoholic. I'm now 31 and 9 days sober
