The swans are lovely.

Charlee, your story of the congregating swans made me think of this: I was reminded the other day that the bald eagles congregate in huge numbers not too far from me on the Skagit River in the winter. I was married in another lifetime, and we went on a rafting trip down the Skagit 20-some years ago. We saw over 100 eagles that day - they go there to feast on the spawning salmon. I would like to do it again now that I've recovered from being a Codie and I'm in my second recovery from alcoholism. So. I'm doing that. I think it's in January. Good, because I'm stressing staying busy enough in the winter. On our raft that day was a Seattle Times photographer - so I found a Seattle Times/Skagit eagles pic.

I think of you guys during my day. I feel we are in this together and that's comforting. I feel your strength and your collective positive energy. If that's not God-energy, I don't know what is.

24 more, I will be thinking of you.
