What I have finally realized...
I have finally been CONVINCED that alcoholism is a chronic, progressive and fatal disease if left untreated.
I was sober for almost 6 years and relapsed last October.
It has been 11 months since my relapse and I am miserable! Not only am I worse off than I was in 2008, but MUCH more depressed!
In case anyone forgot....alcohol will NOT stop until it kills us or makes us want to die.
Sad. Sad way to live....
If you have some sobriety and are thinking you are missing something...let me tell you what you are missing....HELL!
If HELL sounds good to you...drink!
I just wanted to tell you this because I don't want anyone to suffer like I am.
