I have to say I experienced this very thing only in reverse.
I had an OUI. I got to stay sober for over 90 days. I got to pay for the car to get fixed. The lawyer to fight for me. The court fines to pay.
So I got to stay sober and pay over 10k!!!!!!
Not the same thing but close... No?
