Well, I shouldn't have complained! Summer is here with a vengeance. It's funny, school has started for most of the kids (kind of the "end of the summer" for most) but we're getting some real heat.
I have a new job lined up but it won't start for a little while, so I'm in that limbo of showing up to work every day but wishing I was already done.
Still, at least I'm still getting a check. The new job is pretty exciting, more interesting and challenging than my current job. Just wish it was starting sooner.
I tend to get a little wistful/melancholy at the changing of the seasons. This summer was kind of ho-hum but I'm not ready for it to end. I haven't done much "summer stuff" yet. Here most of us hope for an "Indian Summer", mild summer-like weather leading into the fall. With luck I'll have some time between the end of this job and the beginning of my new one to get some stuff done!
