My AH is soooo not a bad boy. He's super smart and successful and athletic and competitive. Not to toot my own horn, but that's how I am too. I don't think he nor I are addicted to drama but for me at least, it's about trying to FIX problems that I misinterpret as mine.

What my counselor has explained to me is that codependency isn't a personality type it's a set of behaviors that are learned when one is in a close relationship with an addict. I have a perfectionist personality and I have some codependent tendencies as well.
