chicory....I only used the group home situation as a worst case scenario to demonstrate how others have had to overcome very large obstacles. I am not saying that this would be the same situation with your son, at all.
I'm sure that he has many natural talents that have never been actualized, as of yet (for whatever reason). This is the whole reason to get a proper diagnosis and treatment.
We all are inclined to do future tripping and get tangled up in our own fears.
This is why we are so often admonished to STAY IN THE PRESENT.
