I continue to be shocked how long it is taking for the fog to go away and the mental clarity to come back. It is though, slowly and day by day.
I feel 100 percent better on day 39 than I did any day while drinking.
I am shocked at how sick I really was 39 days ago. I was functioning by going to work, shopping, socializing, yet incredibly sick in body and mind.
It takes some sober time to see the full extent of your drinking days and just how sick you were.
Sobriety is so worth it.
