Nice to have you back GroundhogDay. I don't know if this helps, but really understanding about PAWS and accepting the fact that it is real is what helped me the most in the first few months.

Secondly.. Addiction is a very personal thing, and only you can fix it, no-one else. Therapy and counseling sounds useful. SR is good that too propably. What I mean is, that ultimately... nobody cares. You need to do it for yourself and in the end you need to do it alone. There is great support here on SR and lots of wisdom and understanding.
