I live with a drinker too, and I know how hard it is for you, when it's in your face all the time. It took me a long time to figure out....I had to do it for ME....not think about his continued drinking, as much as I don't like it.
I've put together over 9 months, because I really want this, like you do. Until you really wrap your mind around the fact, this is about
YOU, and not him, it will always be a struggle.
I can't even begin to tell you how much better I feel today. I've been making changes in my life, positive all the way. I will do whatever it takes not to go back to that living hell. The good thing, he's cut down, I just ignore it, when he choses to drink.
I've got my life to live. I refuse to waste another day with that dead end life.
