Croissant, I wonder if this has more to do with what you think you have hidden from yourself vs. him? If this is recurring it might be your subconscious nagging at something to take a closer look at?
Sorry if I have taken too many liberties in this - I know dreams can be personal as well as the interpretations. I have found great value in analyzing my own dreams, three specific vivid ones with my therapist that helped me see something that was obvious and right in front of me but I was blind to seeing.
