I attended some NarAnon meetings and I understand the whole "co-dependent" issue. . . but my son is only 15. I can hold some things over his head -- like driving permits and trips to favorite places -- but I'm definitely at the point of trying to turn him around and help him versus "tough love." I'd love to know what some friends and family of young kids have to say. . .
