A couple of things to add to help you guys figure out the kind of drinker I am: I never do benders, and never have a drink to help a hangover. I never want a drink first thing in the morning, and never start a day with the intention of drinking later. I feel like something always happens during the course of the day that triggers it, and it's just my go-to coping mechanism when it comes to sadness, happiness, anxiety etc.
