Sounds awful harsh for two beers? I would have taken my chances with the breathalyzer and it sounds like the officer just wanted an easy add to his monthly quota. Overnight stay in jail for two beers? No field sobriety test? No BAC? I would get a lawyer.
At least you have motivation now to be sober.
This post sums it up. Without a field sobriety test or BAC I'm not sure how he could prove you were drunk after 2 beers. I'd get a lawyer.
