Hi Free. If you want to stop drinking you have come to a great spot. Smart move to quit before it gets any worse. As far as AA goes, you won't know if you fit if you don't go. You will find lots of support here. I go every day to the 24 hour post and pledge not to quit for the next 24 hours. That helps me a lot. Also we have meetings here every Tuesday and Friday nights. 9 pm Easter time. You might check out the chat room here too. There are usually some people in there.
